Some of my regular customers have already noticed but my new customers might notice a slight albeit temporary change to the stickers. You see we had a slight problem which involved a new cutting head which was held up in customs and a problem with cutting and vinyl. So a bit of a nightmare.
Whats happened you ask? You know the sheet you peel the sticker off leaving the residual sticker material in-between the removed stickers. You know the bit I mean....this bit....marked with the arrows.
We've had to remove it off hundreds of sheets. Meaning we had to sit there for a few hours picking every corner and pulling it off every sheet leaving only the actual flag behind.
What this means is the sheets don't look as pretty on delivery but everything is still the same quality. What it does also mean is they are easier to peel off the sheet. So bonus for you.
Why did we do this? Due to the cutting head fault the cuts on the sheets were not fully through the vinyl in some places. This meant the stickers were being pulled out of shape in the areas where they were still joined. The vinyl was shrinking as expected but unevenly due to the irregular cutting. So the only way to save thousands of pounds of stock was to remove the pieces in-between. So there you have it.
Its never happened before and indeed the first set of stickers we ever produced is still here with me and they look perfect on the page with the bit in-between still there. Luckily we only lost 42 sets of stickers before we noticed the problem. To those that waited for reprints. Thanks.
